Mysterious City Noises Part II
Here is the latest mystery: It appeared that they were firing cannons this morning at the Air Force Armoury.
I heard several loud bangs at around 10am. They were interesting enough that I went to my window to look. Off to my right I could see the Armoury and two clouds of smoke wafting up into the air on the far side. I could hear two more large bangs, followed by more smoke. I deduced that they were firing a cannon of some sort. Pookie says that it was probably a Howitzer, not a cannon. Whatever.
Anyhow, the big question is WHY?? As usual, I cannot find any information anywhere.
I did, however, come across this site: The Lost Mitten Project.
