Instead of working...

I have:
* had a nap.
* watched the pathetically hilarious "The Core" (extra loser points: I've now watched this movie twice).
* read a book (Douglas Adams, "The Salmon of Doubt"). Oh Douglas, you are sadly missed. Why? See item directly preceding this.
* pored over the new Ikea catalogue (is it just me, or do they just rearrange the table of contents and shoot the same items in different colours and combinations and jack up the prices 3%?).
* had another nap.
* tried to play with the cat. She wasn't finished napping and figured out that my cunning plan was to clip her nails. Am regularly outsmarted by creature with a brain the size of a walnut.
* read everything I could about the latest episodes of SG1 and SGA. Atlantis won't air here until Monday, and we're only on season 4 of Stargate. Hey, my mom used to yell at me for reading the last page of my books when I was a kid - there's no hope for me now.
* played around with Photoshop. Artistic I ain't. Or patient. Or blessed with hand/ eye coordination.
* had a snack.
* decided to update journal.

I need to:
* start this darn database that is due for delivery on Tuesday. Have I started? No. It's not actually a big project, just B.O.R.I.N.G. It will probably take about four hours to complete. It won't be that bad, really. But, it is for evil timeshare salespeople, so the amount of bad karma I will accrue is uncalculable.

* checked the tv listings. Oooooh, "Dead Like Me" is on.
