Lost: 1.04 & 1.05

I've been trying to resist the lure of this show because I already have too many other shows that I watch. Of course, a lot of the shows that I watch are complete crap while Lost most certainly is not, but I've never been known for my logic.

Aaaaaaand it was a complete waste of time to even type that paragraph (we won't even mention the horror of actually reading it) because I am now well and truly hooked thanks to back-to-back episode airings last night.

Prior to last night I had watched the pilot and the third episode. I'm still trying to get the character's names straight, but that hasn't been much of a hinderance to my enjoyment of the show.

To make a long story short (that'd be a first). I like the show.


All right, let's be honest, there is no such thing as a short story with me. I like the show so far. I have the feeling that it could start to suck quite easily. It's been a surprise a minute in every episode I've seen, and I don't think that TPTB can maintain that pace without becoming ridiculous (they're walking a fine line as it is). I just hope that the ridiculosity will wait long enough for me to become completely addicted to the show. Then I'll be able to just sit back and bask in the silliness. If it gets too stupid too soon I'd probably just stop watching.

Enterprise 4.03: Home

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

After a disappointing season opener the Enterprise that I love is back.

And the cuteness is overpowering.

It's all about Trip and T'Pol, man. They are just so adorable.
