I was Internet-less for most of the day *shakes fist at Rogers* and bad things happened.

Well, it's also the fault of my PMS, but the lack of distractions did not help.

You see, one of my PMS symptoms is the urge to clean. Now, I am extremely grateful for this, as it is the only way that my apartment stays reasonably tidy. However, this month the urge has been accompanied by a redecorating fetish. I keep pretending that I'm going to paint the apartment one day, but that is never going to happen, so I rearranged all of the furniture in my bedroom a couple of days ago. I'm quite pleased with the results and I got to vacuum previously inaccessible corners. I thought that the PMS urge had been assuaged for another month.

Wrong.

Today, as I skulked around the apartment periodically checking to see if I could get online and swearing like sailor, the thought of rearranging the living room started to seem like a good idea. Before I knew it, I had bookcases emptied, furniture pulled out to the middle of the room and a godawful mess created. This lead to the realization that my library needs to be completely reorganized before I reshelve any books. Then the internet came back on and sanity slowly crept over me. I had a lucid moment and the following occured to me:

1. I have WAY too many books;
2. Rearranging the living room was NOT a good idea;
3. I am too far along to stop.

Well, shit.

It is going to be a very long night.

At least my bathtub is clean and shiny.
