It all began with a typical Wilde family roadtrip. Dad had set a departure time of 10 am. Before I tell this tale, let me just say that if we ever needed Dad to take us/meet us somewhere when we were kids, we always gave him a time that was at least 45 minutes earlier than we actually needed him.
8:30 am. Cat Pee and I discover that all five doors of her vehicle are frozen shut, thanks to the thunderstorm with +9C temperatures of the day before that was followed by snow squalls and -10C temperatures later in the evening.

11:35 am. Bitch calls shotgun so I resign myself to 1.5 hour ride in backseat of pickup truck. Dad turns on the country radio station "just like you remember it, honey". I curse the day I wrote about my memories of being on the road with Dad.
Next stop, Toronto!
