My Exciting Life
Apr. 15th, 2005 11:23 amAfter spending the last two weeks with my family, I drove back to Ottawa yesterday. The purpose of this trip is to get all of my stuff packed up and grab my cat. I'm planning on leaving Sunday or Monday to go back to my new/old home. I'll have to make one more trip to Ottawa with a moving van, but that won't be until a little later.
I still can't believe that this is happening, but I am surviving. I've been in deep denial while I've been away, but the reality is starting to hit me now that I am back in our apartment. Believe it or not, Pookie and I still haven't talked about this face to face yet...pathetic huh? I'll have to tackle him and get it over with. He's the one who wants this, you'd think he'd at least have the balls to tell me why.
My cat is quite perturbed at the sight of packing boxes...she knows change is in the air. This is going to make it difficult to capture her in order to take her to the vet's this afternoon. She's a wiley little critter. She's going to get a checkup and the vet will give me her opinion on whether or not I should sedate her for the 6 hour car ride.
The GOOD news is that I will hopefully be able to meet up with
cleverocity while I'm here. I'm looking forward to seeing her again, that's for sure!
In other exciting news, I have starting watching the new "Doctor Who" and I LOVE it!!!
