Station update

Just thought I'd surface briefly to say howdy. My new, exciting life as a hot single chick leaving in a resort town in the summer has so far consisted of work, work and more work. I'm still trying to juggle the Marina and my database work...it's succeeding but I haven't been able to take any time off.

I haven't really done much of anything, including watching tv (egads). I've got lots of stuff saved, I've just got to get around to watching it. I haven't been reading lj much either, but I'm slowly working my way back through my flist. *Waves* Hi everybody, hope you are all having a great summer.

I am doing fine. I've been in contact with Pookie which has been good. Shockingly enough, he has discovered that getting rid of me didn't magically make his life better. Snicker. I think I mentioned that to him when he dumped me.

The only real blot on my horizon is my evil stepmother, aka the Werehag. Words cannot describe how completely rotten she is, so I won't bother. Dad has been moaning for the past 5 years about how unhappy he is and the rest of us hate her enough to kick him into gear. The Werehag must go. Now. *Shudders* I have lots of nasty anecdotes, but even thinking about her makes me sick so I'm not planning on writing about her here. Just imagine the worst and wish us luck!

Ack - good luck with the Getting Rid of the Evil Stepmother plot! I empathize very, very deeply.

I'm really glad to see you pop up again on my flist page, btw. *g* Looks like you've got your life under cool, composed control. Hats off to that! And the hot and spicy single-chick life in a resort... well, that will pick up eventually. Those things tend to happen when you least expect them.

Thanks! I wish I could be around more but this whole having a life thing just gets in the way... Just the same I am very glad to be back with my family, evil stepmothers excepted, of course.
