Been such a long time

I didn't realize how long it has been since my last post. Funny how time flies when... you know.

I haven't left lj by any means. I still read my friends page regularly, I just don't seem to post much any more.

Here's a quick update:



I am still living in my hometown. I am deeply involved in our family business (a marina) and now run it with my father. Needless to say, this is not a good time to be in the boat business, but we are scraping along okay.

I'm still happily single and still live alone with one cat and many, many books. Actually, thanks to LibraryThing, I now know how many books I have - waaaaay too many! I am now 39 and the cat is 17.

and probably a bunch of other stuff. I tend to dl or pvr most shows and then watch them at my leisure.

The latest toy in my life is an eReader. I bought a CyBook and I love it! There's nothing like instant gratification for the win.

I am also taking some accounting classes and still do some database development on the side.

Anyhoo, that's about it.
