Smallville 4.05: Run

And Jonathan got laid.
Luckily, these two events have nothing to do with each other.
This was a fun episode. It was great to see Clark loosen up a tad and actually enjoy his powers. The Flash was cute and snarky, one of my favourite combinations. I loved his “cow eyes” comment to Clark. Snicker. I hope he knows that he’s welcome to return to Smallville any time.
Jonathan was pretty horny there for a while. It made him even more of a dick than usual.
Now there’s a mental picture I didn’t need. I really hate my brain sometimes.
Moving on, Martha was awesome as usual. It was so good to see her in her snappy little outfits and punching a time clock. Fight the good fight Martha! You can have it all!
Lex just keeps hitting new heights of sexiness this season. I love how suspicious of Clark he seems. You can see the wheels turning in his head every time he speaks with him. And as for Action!Lex….Oh. My. God. [insert inarticulate gurgling here]
Pookie actually paid attention to parts of this episode. He was anticipating Clark’s horrible lying in all of the right places and didn’t bitch about the fact that The Flash was in Smallville in the first place (and that’s a HUGE step, believe me). But what really got his attention was the final scene in Lex’s office.
Pookie was in the kitchen cooking me dinner when I said, “Hey, what kind of PDA is Lex using?” He came bounding in all atwitter and was glued to the tv hoping for another glance at Lex’s desk (yes, I am evil). Out of luck, he then made me describe it as best I could. After dinner he had a lovely time surfing the net looking for likely suspects. He kept calling me over to the computer to look at pictures. Happy as a clam, he was.
By the way, if anyone has a screenshot that shows Lex’s PDA or knows what it is I’d be much obliged.
Pookie is very eager to find out about the PDA because a) he’s a big geek, and b) he thinks that Lex probably has something awesome since his computer is (apparently) so fantastic. I was also treated to a tour of the Alienware website and a lecture about why they are the “Geek Chic” computer choice.
They also had an Alienware Sightings page so we looked up Smallville. The only entry they had mentioned Chloe and the Torch, not Lex. “Lex gave it to her, remember?” said Pookie knowledgeably.
He still won’t admit that he likes the show, but we know the truth, don’t we?
