Well, that was different
Nov. 5th, 2004 12:23 pmThanks to your cool Clex The Classics Challenge I was actually inspired to write CLex last night.
Actually, it was more like my muse kidnapped me at gunpoint and it was at 4am, but you get the idea.
After lying in bed for hours with my head spinning I finally had the brilliant idea of writing some of it down (yes, I am a little slow on the uptake sometimes). Then I kept flicking the light on and writing even more as more thoughts poured into my fevered brain. I really, REALLY wanted to sleep, but my brain had been hijacked and it just wasn't to be.
I've said this before, but you have the gift of making me think (and write).
Thank you!

Date: 2004-11-05 12:11 pm (UTC)It was so weird, I've never been like that before. Good thing Sean had fallen asleep on the couch so I wasn't disturbing him!
Uhhh, it's going to be a while before it is fit to read. After all, I must first spend some serious time translating whatever strange language that I was writing in last night. :)
And right now it's kind of going in two different directions - I need to decide if it's going to be narrated by Nick Charles or Sam Spade. I'll think about it some more tonight.
I'm glad we met too!

I'll be patient. :)
Dashiell Hammett!!! Sounds delicious already.
