What a frabjous day
Feb. 11th, 2005 06:09 pmToday has been a very, very good day. I spent the first part of it dealing with clients on the phone. I finished at 3ish and realized that I could suddenly see the light at the end of the tunnel. All of my current projects are drawing to a close. Soon, I shall have to begin worrying that I don't have enough future work lined up. But for now, sweet, sweet bliss.
I decided that the rest of today would be devoted to "Me Time". To that end, I took myself off to the library (for the first time in almost THREE months!!!!!) and stocked up on junk food. I then scurried home and spent the rest of the afternoon sitting on the couch with the cat reading mystery novels and enjoying a meal of tuna sandwiches, Pepsi, Cadbury Mini Eggs and Salt and Vinegar chips. I am planning on eating fresh bread and butter and orange juice for dinner. Can life get any better?
Actually it can, Enterprise is on tonight!
Sure, I still have work to do (that I should have been doing today), but screw it, I have been sorely in need of a mental health day for far too long. Today I finally felt like I was in control, long may the feeling last.
I almost forgot to mention that my ass is very pleased with itself as well. I bought a new office chair this week and it has been very thankful.

Did the cat try to steal any of your tuna? *envisages a small paw swipe every now and then*
I'm glad Ass is feeling good. Usually when Ass is feeling well rounded and firm, the rest of the body feels good too :)

And I'm afraid that Ass is feeling quite flattened, after all of its sufferings of previous weeks. I'm hoping that a return to our normal walking routine will perk it up a bit...
