Not So Exciting Update
Pookie came home yesterday.
He still hasn't made any decisions. He's being a bit of a jerk about it, too. It is absolutely impossible to get him to talk about anything and I can't make him see that communication won't kill you. I am very scared that he has already ended this in his own mind and is just hoping that it will all go away. That is certainly not what I want, but there isn't anything that I can do right now except get out of his hair for a while.
Accordingly, I have advanced my travel plans and will be leaving for my hometown tomorrow (Saturday) instead of Sunday as originally planned.
I am not happy but I am surviving. I don't know what the future holds, but for the meantime I will be surrounded by my family who are being incredibly supportive and understanding.
You guys have all been great and I truly appreciate your support as well!
