I think the bloom is off the rose
Tonight my boyfriend was speaking to his sister on the phone, who wanted to know what I was doing.
His response: She's sitting on the couch in front of the tv reading book. The tv isn't on or anything, but she is sitting in front of it.
What I was doing: Swearing like a sailor as I ran around shirtless in the kitchen after my attempt to open a can of frozen orange juice went tragically awry and exploded all over me.
The sad part is that he has a vivid memory of me sitting on the couch as he spoke on the phone, which is why he could give his sister such a detailed description.
Last week, maybe.
This shirt isn't coming off again for a loooooong time.
